Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in New Jersey. The role includes preparing patients for examinations, taking vitals, and assisting physicians with procedures.

Responsibilities also cover front-desk tasks such as registration, scheduling, and charting, plus performing EKGs and point-of-care tests under supervision. A post-secondary medical assisting program and current certification are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient-care abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Experience coordinating with front-desk and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and recording history.
• Clean and stock exam rooms, assist physicians and staff.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and manage medical records.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing per policy.
