Qualifikationen

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting program accredited by NHA/CAHEA/ABHES or other recognized accrediting body.
• Must maintain current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Prepares patients for examination by taking vitals and recording medical history.
• Assists physicians and staff; maintains supplies and enters data in EMR.
• Performs clerical duties including patient registration, scheduling, and chart management.
• Conducts EKGs and other point-of-care tests per policy and safety standards.
• Supports front office tasks including discharge paperwork, referrals, and insurance eligibility.
