Job summary

You will prepare patients for exams, assist providers, and maintain equipment and rooms. Strong clinical and clerical skills are required to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate record-keeping.

The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, basic testing, and collaboration with RNs/LPNs within a busy primary care environment. 40 hours weekly; benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical assisting program with 330 clock hours minimum.
• Current certification from a national medical assistant certifying body.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance basics.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vitals and history.
• Assist physicians and staff; maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Perform ECGs and point-of-care testing per policy.
• Handle front-office duties including registration, scheduling, and records.
