Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care across multiple CT locations. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, including vitals, health history, screenings, and care coordination with providers.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification and a current BLS credential. EPIC EMR experience is preferred; onsite, full-time hours with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in medical assisting or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic.
• BLS certification must be maintained throughout employment within 3 months.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under provider supervision, including vitals and health maintenance.
• Assist with scheduling, check-in/out, referrals, chart prep and prior authorizations.
• Conduct point-of-care testing with quality control and accurate documentation.
