Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support in the patient care workflow at our Connecticut location. You will assist with vitals, charting, referrals, scheduling and front-desk tasks as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires MA training or CT CNA/EMT certification, BLS, and EPIC EMR familiarity. There is a Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred; direct patient care in a busy medical office is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support in patient care under MA scope.
• Assist with vitals, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, and scheduling.
• Support providers with in-house procedures as needed and coordinate transportation.
• Floats to other Hartford HealthCare Medical Group offices as required.
