Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant for the Westmont Family Medicine clinic. This full-time role supports providers, takes patient vitals, manages histories, and coordinates care across the clinic.

You will perform lab duties, assist with procedures, administer vaccines, handle scheduling and referrals, and ensure a clean, compliant clinical environment in a fast-paced, 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 2 years verifiable full-time MA experience within last 5 years (IL/WI divisions).

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals, med reconciliation, medical history, screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures as ordered.
• Perform venipuncture and lab specimen handling; process orders.
• Administer medications and vaccines per rights of administration.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals; maintain records.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safety-compliant clinical space.
