Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or DD214 clinical training in lieu of a program.
• Two years of experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, history, screenings, medication reconciliation.
• Assists provider with procedures and performs lab duties incl. POCT and CLIA-waived tests.
• Administers meds and vaccines following safety rules.
• Handles refills, authorizations, scheduling, and referrals; maintains clean, stocked areas.
