Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice setting as a Medical Assistant.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training per DD214 in lieu of a formal MA program or EMT.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vitals, history, screenings, and health maintenance.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties: venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT, CLIA waivers.
