Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and create an exceptional guest experience.

The role covers both clinical duties and front-d desk responsibilities, including patient check-in/out and coordinating referrals. Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience is required, with graduation from an MA program and MA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification or registration is preferred; required where state regulations apply.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and wound care as directed.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate with labs for tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and communicate test results timely.
• Engage with patients to improve engagement and care gaps.
