Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a positive guest experience, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and a clinical MA.

Requirements include 1 year MA experience (preferably in primary care), graduation from an MA program, and MA certification/registration as required by state. CPR/BLS is required at start date, and phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal MA program or related program.
• State or national MA certification preferred; required where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, and assist with procedures as directed by the Provider.
• Support front desk duties and coordinate referrals and appointment scheduling.
• Document and communicate patient information accurately in the medical record.
