Job summary

Englewood Health in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for the Jersey City HOPD. The role is full-time, daytime hours (8am-4pm) with duties spanning patient intake, rooming, basic clinical tasks, and front-desk responsibilities.

Prior CMA or MA certification and CPR are preferred, with experience in EMR systems. Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting information, scheduling, and supporting clinicians to ensure efficient clinic flow while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms.
• Greet patients and answer calls; collect co-pays and assist with registrations.
• Take vital signs and document in EMR/HER systems; prepare specimens for lab processing.
• Assist with phlebotomy and injections as ordered by physicians.
• Coordinate with technicians and physicians for timely patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
