Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for a full-time day shift in Harrington Park, NJ. You will support patient flow, perform front-desk duties, and assist clinicians by preparing patients for appointments.

A friendly, detail-oriented approach and basic data-entry skills are essential. Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and MA/PCT training or experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent or 5 years of Medical Assistant/PCT experience.
• Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/Patient Care Technician (PCT).
• Certification required for injection administration and medication documentation/handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients and collect demographic, financial information and ID.
• Answer phones, greet the public, and perform front-desk data entry and registration tasks.
• Move patients from waiting area to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.
