Job summary

Englewood Health in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join the HVA Medical Group. Under supervision, you will assist in delivering primary health care, interview patients, and handle routine clerical duties to support efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include registration, answering phones, data entry, and coordination with the care team during 8:30am–4:30pm shifts. CPR-certified CMA/RMA/PCT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with medical assistant/pct experience acceptable.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• Current CPR certification and CMA/RMA/PCT credentials preferred for injections.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assistDelivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients and/or representatives to obtain demographic, financial information and ID.
• Perform clerical tasks: answering phones, data entry, registration, and patient flow management.
