Job summary

Englewood Health seeks a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for the Pompton Plains location. Under general supervision, you will assist in delivering primary health care, interview patients for demographics and insurance needs, and handle registration-related tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA/RMA/PCT certification may be required/preferred.
• Familiarity with practice management systems and medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to collect demographic, financial, and identification information.
• Assists with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prepares patients for the physician.
• Performs routine clerical tasks including answering telephones, data entry, and registration documentation.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent or 5 years of Medical Assistant/PCT experience
