Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant for day shifts in the Medical Office Building in Phoenix. The MA will support front and back office tasks, escort patients, and maintain rooms and records under clinician supervision.

Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of an MA training program; BLS is required. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and MA training program completed.
• Completion of approved MA training required; CMA preferred.
• BLS certification required with valid fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide front and back office support; escort patients to exam rooms.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist clinicians during exams.
• Handle phones, scheduling, and charting; maintain medical records.
• Assist with injections, venipuncture, and basic in-clinic testing as directed by provider.
