Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Primary Care-Desert Mountain clinic. The MA provides front and back office support, escorts patients, maintains exam rooms, and schedules appointments. The role requires MA training and preferred lab experience.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The clinic offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and reimbursement for certification exams; candidates with BLS and MA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and escorts to exam rooms.
• May travel to off site locations to perform diagnostic testing and assist in physical exam components.
• May administer and record injections and TB testing under the supervision and order of the physician.
• Performs venipuncture and obtain specimens and CLIA waived lab tests.
• Receives telephone calls from patients and relays information to provider for action.
