HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support in primary care.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, scheduling, and coordinating with insurers to authorize therapies; must have MA training and BLS. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and standard clinic hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., CMA, CCMA, RMA) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms for examination and escort the patient to the examining room.
• Take vital signs and document chief complaint.
• May perform venipuncture and CLIA waived lab tests.
• Administer injections and TB testing as directed by physician.
• Provide front office support: reception, telephone, scheduling, insurance forms and chart maintenance.
• Coordinate authorizations with insurance for therapies, testing and referrals.
• Maintain medical records and assist in providing care within clinic protocols.
