Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant at the Carefree Primary Care Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. The MA will provide front and back office support, escort patients, maintain rooms, and assist providers with exams. Requires MA training, BLS, and fingerprint clearance, with the option of reimbursement for certification.

Hours are Mon-Thu 8:30–5:30 and Fri 8:00–5:00, with a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Prior MA experience and strong patient communication are preferred to enhance patient access and

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program (Required).
• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant - Preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card - Required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains exam rooms.
• Escort patients to examination rooms and obtain brief history.
• Record vital signs and assist physician during exams.
• Provide front and back office support including scheduling and data entry.
• Answer patient phones and manage messages and referrals.
• Organize insurance authorizations and referrals as needed.
