Job summary

HonorHealth's Primary Care-Trailhead clinic in Peoria, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for day shifts 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The MA provides front and back office support, escorts patients, maintains exam rooms, and supports providers with procedures and testing.

Responsibilities include scheduling, charting, basic lab testing, venipuncture, and handling phone inquiries while ensuring accurate patient records. Arizona-based credentialing and BLS are required as described.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an MA training program required.
• 6 months' experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains clean, stocked exam rooms and assists providers during exams.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and manage front and back-office tasks.
• Perform venipuncture, basic laboratory tests and routine procedures as directed by the provider.
• Answering phones, scheduling, and coordinating referrals with insurance.
• Travel to off-site locations for diagnostic testing as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart documentation.
