Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as Medical Assistant or have MA diploma/certification.
• Experience with EMR/EHR preferred.
• Experience in a primary health care setting preferred.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) per AHA.
• Ability to travel to other clinic sites as needed.
• Knowledgeable with personal computers.
• Scheduled hours and/or work locations may change.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day front and back office operations.
• Administer injections and assist with EKGs and screenings.
• Obtain patient history, vital signs, and document quality metrics.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment calibration and cleanliness.
• Register patients, update demographics, and verify insurance.
• Prepare end-of-day cash reconciliation and secure deposits.
