Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians by taking histories, recording vitals, and performing routine testing in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will handle phlebotomy, injections, point-of-care testing, documentation, and referrals while maintaining HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Travel to care centers within the region may be required.

Competenze

• 1–2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Ability to work independently with good clinical judgment.
• CPR certification required.

Mansioni

• Take patient history and record vital signs.
• Perform basic testing or screenings (vision, hearing, urine tests, EKGs, etc.).
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab samples.
• Complete lab paperwork and documentation for tests.
• Administer injections and document procedures.
• Assist providers with exams and testing and coordinate records if needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient rights.
