Hometown Urgent Care in Ohio seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will handle patient histories, vital signs, basic testing, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen handling, while documenting results accurately.

This role requires flexibility: at least 2 days per week plus every other weekend; prior experience in a clinic and CPR certification are preferred.

Competenze

• 1–2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred.
• Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with good clinical judgment.
• CPR certification maintained.

Mansioni

• Take patient history and document vital signs.
• Perform basic testing (vision, hearing) and phlebotomy as needed.
• Assist with exams, injections and minor procedures.
• Register patients, explain insurances/pricing, and collect payments.
• Maintain exam rooms and sterilize equipment; ensure patient flow.
