Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Medical Assistant – Internal Float (MA-Float) to flexibly support senior-focused clinics. You may work in front office or direct patient care, assisting with vitals, intake, and rooming, while coordinating with the PCP and multi-disciplinary team.

In this role you will greet members, document in EMR, perform routine diagnostic tasks, and help ensure a smooth patient experience with accuracy and compassion in a dynamic clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training required.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy experience a plus.
• EMR documentation experience and geriatric patient care experience preferred.
• 1 year MA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members, greet and check in for appointments in a seamless process.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for the care team.
• Update member data in the EMR and manage medical records workflow.
• Perform intake, record vitals, and assist with examinations and screenings.
• Assist in front office tasks and provide coverage as needed.
• Support PCPs and specialists with documentation and patient flow.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and accurate, ethical documentation.
