Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for Center Float to support our centers with front desk duties and direct patient care. The MA-Float will assist the PCP, greet members, schedule visits, and record vital signs to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include exam support, vital signs, and EMR data entry in EClinicalWorks, with CPR/first aid as needed. A high school diploma and Medical Assistant program completion are required, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• 1 year MA experience preferred but not required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet members upon arrival and assist with check-in.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multi-disciplinary care team.
• Update member information in the EMR system.
• Request medical records and upload documentation to EMR system.
• Perform intake, measure vital signs, collect medical history, and assist with routine exams.
• Communicate changes in patient conditions to PCP or specialists.
• Assist with answering calls and communicating with patients as needed.
• Assist with minor first aid and CPR under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
