Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians in the Orange, CA clinic. You will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, including taking X-rays and coordinating patient care within a podiatry/orthopedic setting.

Ideal candidates have MA experience, podiatry/ortho exposure, and strong communication skills. EMR experience (athenahealth) and reliability are essential for daily clinic operations and patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry/Orthopedic clinic exposure preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Clinical care coordination experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prep for physician.
• Complete exam intake and review medical history.
• Take vitals and document in EMR (athenahealth).
• Provide patient care under podiatric physician supervision.
• Restock exam rooms and dispose of waste.
• Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms daily.
