Upperline Health Inc is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support physicians in a Memphis clinic. The role involves clinical and administrative tasks, including taking patient vitals, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with X-ray procedures as needed.

Prior podiatry or orthopedic exposure is preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong computer skills, familiarity with EMR systems (athenahealth), and excellent communication with patients and team members.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology required or preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Customer service orientation is highly valued.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic desired.
• Geriatric patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physicians' assessment.
• Complete exam intake and review medical, social and surgical histories.
• Record vitals and documentation in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist physicians and take x-rays as needed in the clinical setting.
• Perform routine exam room and instrument cleaning and restocking.
