Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with exams and procedures, and help coordinate care to ensure positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year clinical experience preferred.
• If no MA program, 2+ years clinical support experience required.
• Certifications CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA or CMAC preferred.
• Michigan MA licensure or eligibility desired.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
