Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Ma programs and externships, and EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer credentials are preferred.
• Medical Assistant credential options CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC accepted.
• 0-1 year clinical experience or 2+ years in community clinics with clinical skills testing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
