Banner Health in Sun City, Arizona, is seeking a Medical Assistant through Banner Staffing Services-AZ. You will support clinicians, take vital signs, assist with exams, and manage patient flow in a dynamic clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, Banner-approved MA training, and active MA certification. Registry/Per Diem positions offer growth opportunities with weekly pay and flexible schedules where available.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Banner-approved medical assistant training is required.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA).

Mansioni

• Prepares patient for exam and treatment, records vital signs and chief complaint.
• Assists providers with exams and minor procedures, measures vitals and performs phlebotomy.
• Coordinates patient care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintains accurate medical records and billing information.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and sterilizes equipment; follows safety protocols.
• Orders supplies and manages inventory for patient care areas.
• Communicates effectively with patients and clinical staff; supports team.
• Completes onboarding and simulation training as required.
• Coordinates with external contacts regarding patient care as needed.
