Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift in our Iowa clinics. The successful candidate will perform MA duties, take vitals, assist with procedures, and document interactions in the EMR under provider supervision.

Ideal applicants have a CMA or RMA certification, BLS, and completion of a CAHHP/ABHES-accredited program. Prior clinic experience and strong teamwork are valued as we deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• CAAHP/ABHES-accredited medical assistant program completed.
• CMA, RMA certifications within first year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures, rooming patients, and injections.
• Record vitals and document interactions in EMR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare exam rooms.
• Coordinate care with health team and educate patients.
• Recognize urgent needs and initiate emergency procedures when needed.
