Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical and business functions in Primary Care at 1 Hampton Road, Exeter NH. You will work under the direct supervision of a Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician and participate in a patient-centered care team.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, a standard weekday schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or enrollment within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work and obtaining vital signs.
• Provide medication reconciliation and assist provider in examinations and/or procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Respond to patient phone and portal messages on the same day.
• Follow standing protocols to complete pre-visit work and vaccines.
• Schedule pre-admission tests and place follow-up calls after surgery.
• Handle routine front-desk tasks: greeting, scheduling, phone calls, and chart management.
• Participate in daily huddle and maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
