Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical and business tasks under supervision. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available and prorated for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers with examinations.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and maintain exam rooms stocked and clean.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day.
• Complete pre-visit work, vaccines, and prescription refills using standing protocols.
