Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, serving as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification; phlebotomy is preferred. On-site position with competitive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduate of an MA program or related program.
• Certification/registration as MA preferred; CPR/BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals and coordination.
• Document accurately in the medical record and communicate results timely.
• Support care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps.
