VIVO Infusion is seeking a Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist in Midlothian, VA. You will support clinical operations, welcome patients, assist staff, and ensure safe, compassionate care in line with guidelines.

The role includes administrative duties and occasional coordination of deliveries. The position requires one year in a clinical setting and one year in admin or customer service, with CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start date.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical environment required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
• Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update charts.
• Communicate patient data to providers and nurses for continuity of care.
• Provide administrative support: greet patients, scheduling, manage calls, and process payments.
• Oversee efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist providers as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit lab specimens as directed.
• Assist Patient Services with prior authorizations for treatments.
• Triage patient calls and document messages; manage supplies as directed.
