Excell Integrated Clinic is a new medical clinic seeking a dependable and professional Medical Assistant with excellent organization and people skills. The clinic's providers are experienced and committed to providing the best for their patients and staff. We are looking for an experienced individual who can contribute to the daily operations of a successful clinic. The candidate must be able to multi-task, communicate professionally, pay attention to detail, and work well under pressure. Office work and data entry will be required.

Job Description
Essential Functions

  1. Participate in administrative staff meetings, meetings, and seminars.
  2. Contribute to developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  3. Assist in organizing office operations and procedures to maintain office services.
  4. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing basic information as needed.
  5. Greet the public, answer questions in person and by telephone, and refer inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Operate office machines such as copy machines, fax machines, time stamp machines, computers, and scanners.
  7. Perform clerical duties including filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, and emailing.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of a Medical Assistant.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ethical conduct and flexibility.
  • Ability to take initiative when necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Maturity and ability to handle job demands effectively.
  • Team player attitude.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinic setting.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to see, feel, talk, and hear regularly. The role requires sitting for extended periods, using hands for handling and feeling, reaching, and occasionally lifting files or opening cabinets. Bending or standing on a stool may be necessary.

Experience

Minimum of one year in a clinic setting. The position is initially part-time with potential for full-time employment and benefits. Hours and schedule vary based on business needs. The starting wage is $20+ per hour, depending on experience.
