Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a RN/LPN/Medical Assistant at the MercyOne Centerville Clinic.

As a RN/LPN/Medical Assistant at MercyOne, you will aid providers by creating a timely patient flow, positive customer experience, and care for clinic patients. Supports patient and family needs.

• Recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Utilize team members in assessing the patient and analyzing data. Assess learning needs of patients and significant others. Provide accurate information to patients and families.
• Follow clinic procedures for managing electronic medical records.
• Evaluate patient and family understanding of treatment plans.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and operation of diagnostic equipment as assigned.
• Maintain aseptic technique for procedures and medications.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
• Report results and pertinent information to patients and healthcare team members.

Schedule:

• Full Time Days

General Requirements:

RN

• Current RN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within three months of hire.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.

LPN

• Current LPN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.

Medical Assistant

• Current/valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Medication Aide 40-hour course or current medication aide certification required if applicable.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.

Education:

• RN: Completion or near completion of an accredited nursing program.
• LPN: Completion or near completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Medical Assistant: Completion or near completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program.
