Responsibilities include recognizing urgent needs, facilitating communication, managing electronic records, assisting with procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and documenting patient interactions.

General Requirements

For RN:

• Current RN License issued by the State of Iowa
• Preferred: Clinic/physician office experience
• BLS certification within three months of hire
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire

For LPN:

• Current LPN License issued by the State of Iowa
• Preferred: Clinic/physician office experience
• BLS certification within three months of hire
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire

For Medical Assistant:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Medication Aide course or certification if applicable
• Preferred: Clinic/physician office experience
• BLS certification within three months of hire
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire

Educational Requirements

• RN: Near completion of an accredited nursing program
• LPN: Near completion of an accredited LPN program
• Medical Assistant: Near completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program
