Job description

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of your job is to assist with the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established procedures as directed by the Administrator, ensuring the highest quality of care and safety.

Education

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand English
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program

Experience (Preferred/Desired)

• Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
• Minimum of 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years preferred

Licensure and/or Certification (Required/Desired)

• BLS certification required at the time of hire or obtained within 90 days of start date
• Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license/certification required
