Job Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to assist with the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established procedures, as directed by the Administrator. The goal is to ensure the highest quality of care and safety is maintained.

Education

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand English
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program

Experience (Preferred/Desired)

• Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
• At least 6 months of employment in an ambulatory physician practice within the last 3 years preferred
• Experience in Pediatrics strongly preferred

Licensure and/or Certification (Required/Desired)

• BLS certification required at hire or obtained within 90 days of start date
• Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license/certification required
