Job description

The primary purpose of your job is to assist with the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established procedures as directed by the Administrator, ensuring the highest quality of care and safety.

Education

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand the English language
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program

Experience (Preferred/Desired)

• Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
• At least 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice in the last 3 years preferred
• Experience in Pediatrics is strongly preferred

Licensure and/or Certification (Required/Desired)

• BLS certification required at hire or within 90 days
• Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license/certification required
