Summary of Job Duties: The RN will promote wellness, improve outcomes, and support self-care within a patient population. The RN III will support patients with chronic conditions by providing education and assistance in disease management, developing and implementing health plans, and coordinating care, including prescription refills and patient education in collaboration with physicians. The role requires a commitment to patient outcomes and high performance levels despite workload variations. This position functions as a Charge Nurse and may float to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • RN Degree (Baccalaureate, ADN, or Diploma)
  • At least 1 year RN experience with current BLS certification
  • Valid Arkansas RN License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS certification or obtain within one year of hire
  • Leadership experience

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document patient data
  • Develop and evaluate patient care plans
  • Administer medication per standards and laws
  • Ensure care aligns with standards and regulations
  • Incorporate current evidence into practice
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders
  • Document care appropriately
  • Report variances and participate in staff recruitment
  • Develop evidence-based nursing standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
