Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, WI is seeking a Medical Support Associate to interview patients, measure vital signs and update health records to support clinical decision making. You will prepare examination rooms and assist physicians and nurses to deliver high quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Daily tasks include handling administrative duties, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment while contributing to a collaborative team focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 1 year of related experience.

• Prepare examination and treatment rooms to ensure a clean, safe and efficient clinical environment.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses with clinical treatments and select duties to deliver high quality patient care.

• Order and stock clinical supplies to maintain an organized and well equipped care environment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
