Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant – Center Float to flexibly support our members at Little Rock centers. The MA-Float may assist in front office or direct patient care, supporting the PCP and care team to ensure efficient service.

You will greet patients, take vitals, document in the EMR, and help coordinate referrals. The position emphasizes patient experience, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training required.
• A minimum of 1 year MA experience preferred.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with EClinicalWorks or similar EMR.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet members on arrival and create a welcoming, home-like check-in.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multi-disciplinary team.
• Update member information in the EMR system.
• Respond to medical records requests and upload documentation.
• Conduct intake, measure vitals, take history, and perform routine screenings.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the PCP or team.
• Handle calls and messages to support patient experience and care coordination.
• Assist with dressing changes, wound care, and CPR under supervision.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and accurate documentation.
• Assist with center events as needed.
