Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our primary care teams. You will greet and room members, conduct intake, measure vital signs, review medical histories, and assist with routine diagnostic testing during appointments. The MA-Float may provide coverage outside the primary center.

Candidates should have a Medical Assistant program credential, at least one year of MA experience, and BLS. Experience with EMR systems like EClinical Works and caring for older adults is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members and perform intake, vitals, and medical history.
• Assess patient health conditions and assist PCP with routine diagnostic testing.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to PCP, specialists, and team.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, and assist in first aid under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients via weekly calls.
