Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for the call center in a remote capacity. You will handle a high-volume call load, assist with scheduling, and take accurate messages according to providers' protocols.

The role requires strong customer service, insurance knowledge, and the ability to triage urgent vs routine issues while maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Call center/front desk experience preferred; high school diploma required.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and referrals helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Handle 100+ calls per day from patients and families.
• Assist with scheduling office, lab, and nurse appointments.

Position Summary: Capable of handling 100+ calls/day, assistance with scheduling office/lab/nurse appointment and detailed message taking based on providers written protocols, multitasking between offices/providers protocols. Understanding of insurances and referrals needed. Ability to use independent thinking to determine urgent vs routine matters to be addressed.

Required Qualifications: Call Center/Front Desk experience preferred: High school diploma required. Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of insurance preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff and other customers. Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to use independent thinking, sound judgement and creativity when resolving customer issues. Ability to balance multiple priorities and effectively handle challenging situations. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to use personal commuters and select software applications.

Work Shift Details: Days - First Shift, Days Monday - Friday no holidays or weekends

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$18.70 - $23.38
