Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Medical Assistant 3 to be the first point of contact for patient care. You will handle advanced administrative tasks and perform clinical duties under supervision, collaborating closely with physicians and advanced practice providers while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes independent initiative, TB screening participation, and mentoring junior staff. Local travel may be required with mileage reimbursement; interview via HireVue.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medication/vaccine administration experience.
• 1+ years MA experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certified.
• TB screening required.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient care and administrative duties.
• Perform clinical duties: discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications/vaccines, phlebotomy, collect specimens, run tests, sterilize/clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Provide advanced guidance/mentoring to other Medical Assistants.
