Job summary

Humana, Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care and to perform administrative responsibilities onsite.

You will assist physicians and APs, obtain vitals, document in the EMR, and support vaccines and medications administration. Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care per active certification; follow defined policies with some discretion.
• Work within parameters to meet quality standards and prioritize tasks.
