CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Orlando is seeking a Medical Assistant 3 to be the first contact for patient care, handling administrative duties and direct clinical tasks under guidance. You will collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, perform triage, vital signs, specimen collection, vaccines, and maintain EMR documentation.

The role emphasizes independent initiative, patient-facing responsibilities, and participation in the TB screening program.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years MA experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is part of the TB screening program and requires TB screening

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient care and administrative duties.
• Performs advanced administrative, operational and customer support tasks with independent initiative.
• Conducts clinical duties: taking vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccine administration, specimen collection, and entry into EMR.
• Collaborates with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver patient care.
• Prioritizes tasks and adapts procedures with limited guidance.
• Mentors other Medical Assistants and contributes to process improvements.
