Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Paoli, PA office. You will work closely with an assigned physician, escort patients, record vitals, and perform stress testing and EKGs.

The role includes answering phones, assisting with check-in/out, and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is a certified Medical Assistant with 2–3 years of experience, proficient with computers and EMR systems, and able to multitask in a fast-paced cardiology

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• Must have 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Familiarity with cardiology-related procedures (stress tests, Coumadin, Holter) is a plus.
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.
• BLS certification preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Paoli, PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $1,000 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform stress testing and EKGs

• Assist with appointment scheduling.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing
