Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for our Lansdale, PA office. The role involves daily physician collaboration, patient escort, vital signs, stress testing, EKGs, and admin support.

A $500 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements include being a certified or registered Medical Assistant with 2–3 years’ experience; AHA BLS preferred; familiarity with cardiology procedures and an EMR system is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Medical Assistant as per state requirements.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Familiarity with stress tests, Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors is a plus.
• Must be able to multitask and be team-oriented.
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus.

Responsibilities

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Lansdale, PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform stress testing and EKGs
• Follow up on lab results
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• B LS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
